Rabiah Sutton is the Founder of FWDthink. She holds an Executive MBA in International Leadership and Consultancy from Johns Hopkins University, a BA in International Studies from American University and a Graduate Certificate in Procurement and Contracts Management from the University of Virginia. Rabiah is a Certified Scrum Master and a graduate of the SBA Emerging Leaders Program.
Prior to founding FWDthink, Rabiah served as Director of Government Contracts & Compliance at TYCO Integrated Security, where she led a team of compliance, contracts and GSA administrators dedicated to helping government-focused business units sell, negotiate and implement their contractual deliverables. Rabiah is well connected in federal technology circles through her involvement in ACT-IAC, AFCEA, NCMA and eWomenNetwork.

Rabiah founded FWDthinkTM five years ago in order to assist a wider spectrum of clients with varying needs. She leads a team of FWDthinkTMers that advise clients on Strategy, Growth and Professional Development in the Public (Government) and Private (Commercial) Sectors. Rabiah continually looks for ways to ideate and bring innovative best practices to her clients, and FWD think’s products.
A consummate professional, yet down-to-earth realist, Rabiah is well connected in Federal technology circles through her tireless involvement in key Industry associations: (eWomenNetwork, ACT-IAC, AFCEA, NCMA), and is respected as a person of deep knowledge and understanding. It is because of those qualities that Rabiah has, and continues to build, her solid Rolodex of friends, partners, confidants, mentors, and mentees at the C-Level down to the program staff. She is simply someone you want to know and be around.

Rabiah has been an active member of ACT-IAC since 2011 and won the rookie of the year award in 2012 and the Ginny McCormick New Heights Award in 2014. She continues to volunteer with ACT-IAC and is currently serving as the Chair of the Academy Working Group and Industry Chair of the 2015 Small Business Conference. Rabiah is a member of AFCEA and participates in the AFCEA Bethesda chapter. Rabiah is a lifetime member of NCMA and is very active with the DC Chapter. Rabiah was recently named Managing Director of the DC Chapter of eWomenNetwork.
Rabiah was competitively selected by the Small Business Administration to participate in their Emerging Leaders program in the DC cohort, graduating in October 2015.
